Fergie gets a two-match ban from the touch line.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged by the English FA following his critics over the regulations of matches in the Premier League. The coach blamed the FA for Man United’s slow start this season, stating as an example September’s tough fixtures when the Champions had to face Liverpool – in the same week the played Villareal in Europe, and then Chelsea the week after.
Ferguson has also been charged for arguing with the referee after the match against Hull City which Manchester won 4-3.
Ferguson will start serving his ban on December 2nd. This means that the boss will have no right to be in touch with his players at the training session and during their game against Blackburn in the League Cup.
The Scottish manager will also be restricted from the touch line when his side face Roy Keane’s Sunderland.
